This is the first-ever image I created of Aeryn Daring's favourite flying machine. I've since refined the design, but I still like this.
It's a 4-colour lithograph, printed from two separate printing elements. The first was a litho stone. I printed the image in yellow, altered it directly on the stone while it was still on the press, then printed orange, altered it again and printed green (which created the brown). Later, I printed over the whole thing with black on a hand-drawn aluminum litho plate. |
